A modern resort which attempts to create the atmosphere of a traditional Tunisian Town, whilst providing a more cosmopolitan feel. With it’s many restaurants and cafes, the new shopping complex and of course, the temptation of the yaughts, fishing trips and the Pirate Boat excursions, there is plenty to do in the marina area. Hammamet Yasmine also hosts Tunisia’s one and only Ice Rink. In the centre of the resort, the new medina is built around a courtyard area, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, where local entertainers keep you amused throughout the day. The small theme-park Carthageland, a firm favourite with younger visitors, is situated on the northern edge of the medina complex. In contrast, the main sea front promenade adjacent to the miles of sandy beaches, offers wonderful views of the Bay of Hammamet stretching to the north. Just a short taxi ride to the North is the town of Hammamet and to the South, you will discover the village of Bouficha, with its traditional Saturday market and the popular animal park of Friguia.
