Lesley is English, she has lived in Hammamet for nearly 20 years and is married to a Tunisian.

A good mid-range holiday choice with friendly staff and a lively atmosphere, Bel Azur is set back from the main road on the outskirts of the town, just under a mile north of the resort centre and the Medina. The hotel comprises a main building and bungalows within the grounds, and forms a complex with neighbouring sister hotels, all in a pretty garden setting on a small headland. There are steps and slopes down to the two sandy beaches (free sunbeds) and some local shops and bars can be found in the vicinity. The hotel provides good facilities for children and a courtesy bus to the nearest golf courses four miles away.
