This popular resort adjoins Playa de Las Americas. The heart of Los Cristianos retains some of its local atmosphere and the Las Vistas beach is an added attraction. Take a boat trip from the harbour or stroll the pedestrianised town centre with its shops and restaurants.More Information
Once a small fishing village, the resort now combines new promenades and beaches with cobbled streets and alleyways in the town centre. A lovely sea-front promenade stretches along the stunning Las Vistas beach and leads to Playa las Americas. On the beach itself you can enjoy various watersports or hire a bike and ride along the prom. Every Sunday they hold a market selling souvenirs and bric-a-brac and from the main harbour you can catch a boat to see the pilot whales . The main ferries leave from here to the islands of La Gomera, El Hierro or La Palma, so it’s a good opportunity to see one of the other not quite so famous islands, but which are equally as beautiful. Although not as lively as Las Americas, there are still plenty of family bars, some very good restaurants and entertainment to choose from in the evenings. You can get to the 2 main waterparks in the area by the free return bus service.
