A small, quiet resort with a rocky seafront situated around 1 and a half miles north of Playa Paraiso.More Information
Just a few shops and cafes make up this little seaside town, and it is flanked by a small residential area of mainly chalets and bungalows. It is on the bus route to Las Americas/Los Cristianos and Los Gigantes. Its appeal lies in the fact that it is off the beaten track and therefore attracts people who are looking for a quiet, lazy holiday.. There is a small cove shaped beach with mainly pebbles and shingle (callao salvaje means wild rocks) for those who wish to sea bathe. There are a couple of good restaurants for eating out in the town centre. It is possible to take a short cut on foot through to the neighbouring resort of Playa Paraiso.
