“ Santa Cruz is a great small town, situated close to the airport. Easy to walk around and some good little eateries and cafes. The hotel has excellent amenities and the courtesy bus presently running into Funchal takes about 30 minutes. If you enjoy pampering ask about a spa pass (local charges will apply) and if you are foodies check with reception as to where to go and how to get there. Good base for walkers and those who do not want to be in a busy area. ”
