Lindsey Allen has recently joined Palmair, but has worked in the travel industry for nearly 20 years. Lindsey is fluent in Italian and has lived in the area for many years.

Well placed by the lakeside in a peaceful location at the end of the narrow peninsula, the family run Hotel Continental is located within the historic centre of Sirmione, just a stroll from the busy part of the village. Retaining many of its original features, including Murano glass chandeliers and a marble staircase, the hotel has been renovated with a contemporary touch. The swimming pool, with built in jacuzzi, is set in pretty landscaped gardens, where a morning swim can be followed by a delicious al fresco breakfast on the terrace and some time relaxing on the private jetty. The hotel is proud of its Italian traditions and provides a buffet breakfast and a varied waiter served dinner in the immaculate dining room overlooking the lake. The Sirmione public spa "Acquaria" and thermal centre is just next door.
