Caroline is the Palmair representative on the tranquil island on Fuerteventura. Originally from Edinburgh, Caroline has been living and working on the island for 5 years along with her family.

This luxury low-rise hotel enjoys a stunning seafront location on the edge of the Dunes of Corralejo Natural Park, with stunning views over the sea towards the neighbouring islands of Lanzarote and Lobos. There is a small sandy beach in front of the hotel with rocky volcanic seabed good for swimming, a courtesy bus operates to the main long sandy beach about five minutes away (check timetable on arrival). The resort centre is a 20 minute walk. A high standard of comfort and service is provided in a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere inspired by the pleasing Moorish style architecture. Beach club and two outdoor climatised swimming pools, pool towels, sun loungers and parasols. This hotel enjoys an excellent reputation for its cuisine and the main restaurant provides sumptuous buffet meals with show cooking. The a la carte restaurants - Gourmet, Italian and Japanese - are open on a rotational basis depending on demand and advance reservation is recommended. Guests on half board are allowed a special a la carte selection in the Japanese restaurant. Evening entertainment is provided in the Lobby Bar "El Mirador" and there is also a piano bar. The impressive Bahia Vital Spa offers 17 different treatment areas and the latest technology in health and beauty care. Also, a large heated swimming pool with spa circuit, steam baths, sauna, oriental Rasulbath, and a large outside Jacuzzi (over 16's only - local charges apply). Guests have free use of facilities but there is a local charge for treatments and massages. Other facilities include tennis, pool, table tennis, shop, Internet and WiFi, piano bar, laundry and room service facilities. Children are well catered for here and there is a pool and play area, Kids' club with Playstation console and games (7 yrs +) and afternoon mini disco Mon-Sat. Know before you go...Restaurant has smart dress code. Views from ground floor rooms may be obscured by trees. Recommended for: this is the top hotel on the island and most suited for couples or the single adult traveller. An atmosphere of tranquillity and excellence only to be expected from a hotel of this standard.
